1-minute Mesoscale Domain Sector GOES-16 (GOES-East) “Red” Visible (0.64 µm) and “Clean” Infrared Window (10.35 µm) images (above) showed Tropical Storm Bertha as it moved inland across South Carolina on 27 May 2020. The clusters of deep convection rapidly dissipated after landfall, revealing the low-level circulation.
