Advanced Baseline Imager (ABI)

Below is a simulated “16-band” ABI multiple panel image using proxy data from 2004 comprising measurements from three separate satellite instruments (MODIS, Meteosat-8, and AIRS). For the IR bands, the blue and green colors correspond to the coldest temperatures, while the orange and red colors correspond to the warmest temperatures.
