SSEC / CIMSS Field Programs and Instruments
CIMSS and SSEC researchers participate in field programs all over the world -- from Oklahoma and Alaska to Italy and South Africa. Through these experiments, our scientists not only gain insight into the Earth's atmosphere, weather, and climate, but they also have the opportunity to colloborate with the engineers in SSEC to assess current and future environmental remote sensing technologies. To view a list of our field programs, please see the Atmospheric and Earth Science Field Experiments on SSEC's Field Experiments page.
