Meeting Information

The Digital Library for Earth System Education (DLESE) is an online resource for anyone interested in learning about the Earth. This year's annual meeting will focus on DLESE as a teaching and learning tool. Participants will learn how to use DLESE and will meet in working groups to help strategize around these four broad goals:

Defining and developing a quality and comprehensive collection
Reaching new users
Making effective use of library resources and services
Enhancing the diversity of DLESE

Who should attend:

We particularly encourage attendance by K-12 teachers, two-year college faculty, librarians, and informal educators, in addition to curriculum and library developers. This meeting will provide a unique opportunity for these stakeholders to be participants as DLESE evolves into a premier Earth system educational tool of the 21st century.
