Climate Change, Air Quality and Health

According to the World Health Organization, climate change is the greatest threat to global health in the 21st century. Burning fossil fuels, the primary source of climate-warming emissions, is also causing regional and global air pollution: our greatest environmental risk to health.

In this lesson you will learn:
1) Connections between fossil fuels, air pollution, climate change and human health.
2) How taking action on climate change can protect human health.
3) Co-benefits of reducing carbon footprint.

Time Requirement
This lesson should take between 45 minutes and 1 hour.
