This website was developed and is maintained by Cooperative Institute for Meteorological Satellite Studies (CIMSS) Cloud Product Team at University of Wisconsin-Madison.

This website is for GOES-R Advanced Baseline Imager (ABI) cloud product validation, and is currently based on GOES-16 (EAST) imager measurements. In the future, the page will expand to include Enterprise GOES-R products, SURFRAD, CALIPSO, MODIS and SST products.

Funding is provided by NOAA GOES-R algorithm working group (AWG) program through the cooperative agreement between NOAA and University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Real-time GOES-R ABI products are generated with the offical GOES-R ABI algorithms.
