Picture of the Week

The picture of the week is being selected by the honor students in the class and myself. This week the winner is Bradley Paff for his winter picture. Notice the frost on the trees. We will be discussing frost formation shortly, for now, look at the pine tree in the center of the picture. Frost is forming on the outer branches of the tree but not on the inner ones. How does this relate to our class discussions on energy gains and losses?
