2010 WORKSHOP DATES:  June 20-24

Check-in time is 4-5 p.m. on Sunday, June 20th. The students return from a field trip at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 24th. CIMSS staff will work with parents to accommodate air travel and airport transportation. Additional fees may be required for early arrivals or Friday departures.

Who should Apply

High school students who love science!
(Students entering 9th, 10th, 11th or 12th grade in the fall)

How to Apply

All high school students must send a completed application form (htm file, MS Word or PDF), signed by a science teacher. Applications also require a short student essay and a $75 deposit. Fees may be paid to SSEC by check or credit card. The deadline for applications is Friday April 30th.

Cost

The cost for the 2010 Summer Workshop is $475.00. A $75 fee should accompany all applications; the balance of $400 will be due May 28th, after acceptance into the program. Checks should be made out to Space Science and Engineering Center (SSEC) or contact us to pay by credit card. The $475.00 fee covers all housing, meals, a T-shirt, and activities during the workshop. Sliding scale scholarships (based on need) are available upon request. All participants must provide their own transportation to and from UW-Madison. CIMSS staff will work with parents to accommodate air travel. Additional fees may be required for early arrivals or Friday departures.
