19-21 March 1996 -- Deep cut-off low over eastern US

A cut-off low formed and deepened over the eastern US during 19 March, and moved slowly northeastward during 20-21 March. Lobes of vorticity rotating around the low were well depicted on GOES-8 water vapor imagery.
