This loop of GOES-8 visible imagery shows the movement of Lake Effect Snow (LES) bands over eastern Lake Ontario on 11 Januraly 1999. Hourly surface reports are also plotted on the imagery. Moderate to occasionally heavy snow was reported at Fulton NY (station identifier KFZY).
