This loop of 15-minute GOES-8 10.7 micrometer longwave InfraRed (IR) imagery shows the winter storm during the period of transition from rain to snow across eastern North Carolina and Virgina on the morning of 25 January 2000. Surface reports are also plotted on the imagery.
