{"id":206,"date":"2025-07-09T13:51:56","date_gmt":"2025-07-09T18:51:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cimss.ssec.wisc.edu\/student-workshop\/?page_id=206"},"modified":"2025-07-10T14:43:29","modified_gmt":"2025-07-10T19:43:29","slug":"2025-comments","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/cimss.ssec.wisc.edu\/student-workshop\/home-page\/2025-comments\/","title":{"rendered":"2025 Comments"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Here are some comments and reviews from the students of the 2025 camp:  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Monday&#8217;s comments: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>Loved planetarium!<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Quite nice! &#8230; Food was very good!<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Tuesday&#8217;s comments:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>Limnology was amazing \ud83d\ude42<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Storm chasing is very interesting as well!<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Wednesday&#8217;s comments:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>McIDAS was great and really interesting!<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>LOVED DND<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Thursday&#8217;s comments:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>More hiking, less rocks<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Less learning, more fun hiking<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>After the camp:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">&#8220;&#8230;&nbsp;thank you for the opportunity to take part in the student workshop. I feel so lucky that I was able to participate in this experience.&nbsp;There are so many great memories from the week, like our climate change discussions, &nbsp;the behind-the-scenes tour of the news station to see all of the equipment and going in front of the green screen (so cool!). I also loved watching the wall cloud roll by on top of the AOSS,&nbsp;which&nbsp;was my first time seeing one in person!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">My time spent at camp further&nbsp;reinforced&nbsp;my hope to attend UW-Madison and pursue a career in meteorology, so I thank you for that!&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>I really enjoyed the camp! The structure was well planned<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>So much fun! Thank you!<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>Thanks for a great camp<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Thanks for everything this week<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>From parents:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Thank you so much for organizing such a wonderful workshop.&nbsp; [Our son] told us that he is enjoying it thoroughly.
