Registration

We wish we could accept every student who applies; however, for logistical reasons, only allow 18 students will be selected to attend. Mail your application form (PDF below) with a $100 deposit (check to SSEC is preferred) by 1 April 2025 to the address noted on the form.  The form must be filled out with the parent’s signature.

Cost for this year’s workshop will remain $1000. A $100 deposit is due with each application. We will hold all the deposits until the acceptances have been emailed and the student responds. The deposits of the accepted students will be cashed, and the rest of the deposits will be returned via snail mail. The remaining balance must be paid by credit card. We have a limited number of partial scholarships available based on financial need. If accepted into the program, all remaining balances will be due 12 May 2025.

Please note that you are applying to an academically rigorous and competitive science camp with participation based largely on the quality of the essay that you submit. Use of ChatGPT or similar tools to write your essay is forbidden. We want to hear why YOU want to attend and what you hope to get out of the workshop.
