According to a plot of rawinsonde data from Quad Cities, Illinois <strong>(<em>below)<\/em><\/strong>, those infrared brightness temperatures represented a ~2 km overshoot of the Most Unstable (MU) air parcel&#8217;s Equilibrium Level (EL).
