Gezani had been rapidly intensifying on 10 February prior to landfall (<a href=\"https:\/\/cimss.ssec.wisc.edu\/satellite-blog\/images\/2026\/02\/260210_adt_Gezani.jpeg\"><strong>ADT<\/strong><\/a> | <a href=\"https:\/\/cimss.ssec.wisc.edu\/satellite-blog\/images\/2026\/02\/260210_satcon_Gezani.png\"><strong>SATCON<\/strong><\/a>). After landfall, the eye of Gezani quickly became cloud-filled as the storm interacted with the <a href=\"https:\/\/cimss.ssec.wisc.edu\/satellite-blog\/images\/2026\/02\/260210_Gezani_topography.gif\"><strong>topography<\/strong><\/a> of the island.
