Gales are widespread, and winds up to 45 knots are plotted. When Tehuano Gap Winds occur in clear skies (<a href=\"https:\/\/cimss.ssec.wisc.edu\/satellite-blog\/archives\/56780\">as in this example<\/a>), the effect on the sea state can become apparent in visible imagery. On 9\/10 April, high clouds masked the view of the ocean as shown in the animation of <a href=\"https:\/\/geosphere.ssec.wisc.edu\/#playing:true;coordinate:-1923164,1497641;zoom:5.2;num_frames:28;frame_stride:2;start_time:2025-04-09T14:00:21Z;timeframe:Start%20Time;\">CSPP Geosphere true color imagery<\/a> on 9 April 2025, below.
