The above image was captured from the <a href=\"https:\/\/re.ssec.wisc.edu\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"13351\">RealEarth<\/a> website. The warm waters (mid-70s <sup>o<\/sup>F) of the Gulf Stream off the North Carolina coast are in very close proximity to cold (mid-40s <sup>o<\/sup>F).
