Note the 850-mb temperatures at Green Bay (-2<sup>o<\/sup> C) and at Detroit (-1<sup>o<\/sup> C) and at Gaylord MI (-5<sup>o<\/sup> C).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"972\" height=\"823\" src=\"https:\/\/cimss.ssec.wisc.edu\/satellite-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2024\/10\/G16NightMicro_T850_Radar_OBS-20241014_1201stepanim2.gif\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-61123\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">GOES-16 Night Microphysics along with NEXRAD Reflectivity, Surface Observations and 850-mb RAOB plots (Click to enlarge)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/cimss.ssec.wisc.edu\/satellite-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2024\/10\/T850_RAOB-20241014_120000.png\">temperatures at 850-mb<\/a> are below zero (Celsius) and Lake Surface Temperatures are in the 17-18<sup>o<\/sup>C range (below, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.glerl.noaa.gov\/res\/glcfs\/mih\/temp.png\">source<\/a>).
