In addition to generating strong winds and heavy rainfall, these storms were also prolific hail-producers &#8212; most notably, there was one <a href=\"https:\/\/cimss.ssec.wisc.edu\/satellite-blog\/images\/2024\/06\/240619_kabq_lsr.text\"><strong>Local Storm Report<\/strong><\/a> of 2.00-inch diameter hail that lasted for 1.5 hours and accumulated to a depth of 6 inches (9 miles southeast of Willard).<\/p>\n<p>Parts of the northwest-to-southeast oriented swath of hail accumulation near Willard were evident through occasional breaks in the clouds &#8212; exhibiting varying shades of green, such as was seen at <a href=\"https:\/\/cimss.ssec.wisc.edu\/satellite-blog\/images\/2024\/06\/nm_rgb-20240619_200527.png\"><strong>2005 UTC<\/strong><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/cimss.ssec.wisc.edu\/satellite-blog\/images\/2024\/06\/nm_rgb-20240619_225030.png\"><strong>2250 UTC<\/strong><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/cimss.ssec.wisc.edu\/satellite-blog\/images\/2024\/06\/nm_rgb-20240619_230527.png\"><strong>2305 UTC<\/strong><\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/cimss.ssec.wisc.edu\/satellite-blog\/images\/2024\/06\/nm_rgb-20240620_000627.png\"><strong>0006 UTC<\/strong><\/a>.
