Mandatory evacuations were also issued for parts of Tracy.<\/p>\n<p><div style=\"width: 1725px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/cimss.ssec.wisc.edu\/satellite-blog\/images\/2024\/06\/240601_240602_goes18_shortwaveInfrared_CorralFire_CA_anim.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cimss.ssec.wisc.edu\/satellite-blog\/images\/2024\/06\/ca_swir-20240602_003618.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1715\" height=\"830\" \/><\/a><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">GOES-18 Shortwave Infrared (3.9 \u00b5m) images, from 2101 UTC on 01 June to 1901 UTC on 02 June [click to play animated GIF | <a href=\"https:\/\/cimss.ssec.wisc.edu\/satellite-blog\/images\/2024\/06\/240601_240602_goes18_shortwaveInfrared_CorralFire_CA_anim.mp4\"><strong>MP4<\/strong><\/a>]<\/p><\/div>On the following morning, GOES-18 True Color RGB images from the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/geosphere.ssec.wisc.edu\/#playing:true;coordinate:0,0;satellite:goeswest;num_frames:40;\"><strong>CSPP GeoSphere<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0site\u00a0<em><strong>(below)<\/strong><\/em> revealed the dark burn scar of the Corral Fire &#8212; along with early-morning smoke plumes emanating from residual fire activity.
