{"id":52785,"date":"2023-06-05T17:56:36","date_gmt":"2023-06-05T17:56:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cimss.ssec.wisc.edu\/satellite-blog\/?p=52785"},"modified":"2023-06-07T16:23:51","modified_gmt":"2023-06-07T16:23:51","slug":"canadian-wildfire-smoke-dips-into-united-states-again","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cimss.ssec.wisc.edu\/satellite-blog\/archives\/52785","title":{"rendered":"Canadian wildfire smoke dips into United States again"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Canadian wildfire season has been off to an early start since <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/cimss.ssec.wisc.edu\/satellite-blog\/archives\/52171\" target=\"_blank\">the beginning of May<\/a>, impacting air quality in parts of the United States since <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/cimss.ssec.wisc.edu\/satellite-blog\/archives\/52338\" target=\"_blank\">mid-May<\/a>. The animation shows data on 2023-06-05, from 10:00 to 11:50 CDT, every ten minutes.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>You can also combine fire scenes and true-color imagery using RealEarth, which allows you to display more than one data product simultaneously.
