Cyan colors in the False-color imagery do suggest lake ice along the northern shore of Erie, however, to the east of <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Kingsville,_Ontario\">Kingsville Ontario<\/a>, and to the east of <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Port_Stanley,_Ontario\">Port Stanley Ontario<\/a>.  The regions with ice are circled in <a href=\"https:\/\/cimss.ssec.wisc.edu\/satellite-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2023\/02\/VIIRSFalseColor_Annotate-20230213_183659.png\">this annotated false color image<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Clear skies meant that the Advanced Clear-Sky Processing for Ocean (ACSPO) algorithm could produce estimates of lake surface temperatures, shown below.
