Low-level winds (as shown in <a href=\"https:\/\/weather.uwyo.edu\/cgi-bin\/sounding?region=naconf&amp;TYPE=GIF%3ASKEWT&amp;YEAR=2022&amp;MONTH=09&amp;FROM=0912&amp;TO=0912&amp;STNM=72597\">the 1200 UTC sounding from Medford OR<\/a>) are moving the smoke plume out over the Pacific Ocean. Much of Idaho is under an Air Quality Alert (<a href=\"https:\/\/cimss.ssec.wisc.edu\/satellite-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2022\/09\/NWAFrontPage_1950UTC_9September2022.png\">link<\/a>).
