In addition, an animation of 30-second GOES-16 Visible\/Infrared Sandwich RGB images is available <a href=\"https:\/\/cimss.ssec.wisc.edu\/satellite-blog\/images\/2022\/08\/Logo_GOES16_SANDWICH_2022215_1800to2124UTC_30secMESO.mp4\"><strong>here<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><div style=\"width: 650px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/cimss.ssec.wisc.edu\/satellite-blog\/images\/2022\/08\/220803_goes16_infrared_spcStormReports_IL_IN_anim.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cimss.ssec.wisc.edu\/satellite-blog\/images\/2022\/08\/G16_IR_IL_SVR_03AUG2022_B13_2022215_182555_GOES-16_0001PANEL_FRAME00052.GIF\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"640\" \/><\/a><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">GOES-16 \u201cClean\u201d Infrared Window (10.35 \u00b5m) images, with time-matched SPC Storm Reports plotted in cyan [click to play animated GIF | <a href=\"https:\/\/cimss.ssec.wisc.edu\/satellite-blog\/images\/2022\/08\/220803_goes16_infrared_spcStormReports_IL_IN_anim.mp4\"><strong>MP4<\/strong><\/a>]<\/p><\/div>In a toggle between NOAA-20 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nesdis.noaa.gov\/current-satellite-missions\/currently-flying\/joint-polar-satellite-system\/jpss-mission-and-2\"><strong>VIIRS<\/strong><\/a> Infrared (11.45 \u00b5m) and GOES-16 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.goes-r.gov\/spacesegment\/abi.html\"><strong>ABI<\/strong><\/a> \u201cClean\u201d Infrared Window (10.35 \u00b5m) images valid at 1924 UTC <em><strong>(below)<\/strong><\/em>, the northwestward shift in GOES-16 image cloud-top features was associated with <a href=\"http:\/\/cimss.ssec.wisc.edu\/goes\/webapps\/parallax\/overview.html\"><strong>parallax<\/strong><\/a> (which in this case was a distance around <a href=\"https:\/\/cimss.ssec.wisc.edu\/satellite-blog\/images\/2022\/08\/220803_goes16_parallax.png\"><strong>18-19km<\/strong><\/a> for the maximum <a href=\"http:\/\/cimss.ssec.wisc.edu\/goes\/OCLOFactSheetPDFs\/ABIQuickGuide_BaselineCloudTopHeight.pdf\"><strong>Cloud Top Heights<\/strong><\/a> of <a href=\"https:\/\/cimss.ssec.wisc.edu\/satellite-blog\/images\/2022\/08\/mw_g16_cth-20220803_191744.png\"><strong>50,000-52,000 feet<\/strong><\/a>).
