Extreme fire behavior was aided by surface wind gusts as high as 60 mph and very dry air within the boundary layer. Ths large fire burned very hot,<span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\"> with 3.9 \u00b5m Shortwave Infrared brightness temperatures reaching 138.71\u00baC \u2014 the saturation temperature of <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.goes-r.gov\/spacesegment\/abi.html\"><strong><span class=\"r-18u37iz\"><span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\" dir=\"ltr\">ABI<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/a><span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\"> Band 7 detectors &#8212; for extended periods of time.<\/span> Coldest 10.35 \u00b5m cloud-top brightness temperatures exhibited by the pyroCb cloud were around -46\u00baC (lighter blue enhancement), with the Cloud Top Temperature product showing values as cold as -61\u00baC (gren pixels).
