Surface air temperatures were around -50\u00b0F in that area, with Deadhorse setting a <a href=\"https:\/\/cimss.ssec.wisc.edu\/satellite-blog\/images\/2022\/02\/220208_pafg_pns.text\"><strong>daily record low of -53\u00b0F<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>A sequence of Suomi-NPP VIIRS Visible (0.64 \u00b5m), Shortwave Infrared (3.74 \u00b5m) and Infrared Window (11.45 \u00b5m) images is shown below.
