These BRDF (<a href=\"https:\/\/modis.gsfc.nasa.gov\/data\/dataprod\/mod43.php\">Bidirectional Reflectance Distribution Function<\/a>) fields account for sun angle, viewing angle and surface type;  data over the past 16 days are used in this computation.
