Hail as large as <a href=\"https:\/\/cimss.ssec.wisc.edu\/satellite-blog\/images\/2021\/04\/G16_VIS_IR_TX_SPC_28APR2021_B213_2021119_004552_0002PANELS_FRAME0000226.GIF\"><strong>4.00 inches<\/strong><\/a> in diameter was listed in the SPC Storm Reports, but one giant hailstone was found whose diameter was 6.4 inches (Update: this hail was confirmed to be a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncdc.noaa.gov\/monitoring-content\/extremes\/scec\/reports\/20210624-Texas-Hailstone.pdf\"><strong>Texas state record<\/strong><\/a>):<br \/>\n<center><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">The NWS and <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/disastersafety?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@disastersafety<\/a> surveyed a giant hailstone that fell in Hondo, TX on April 28th, measuring 6.4&#8243; in diameter!
