This thunderstorm eventually produced an <a href=\"https:\/\/cimss.ssec.wisc.edu\/satellite-blog\/images\/2021\/01\/210126_kbmx_pns.text\"><strong>EF3 tornado<\/strong><\/a> just north of Birmingham (KBHM) beginning at 0440 UTC.<\/p>\n<p>A slightly closer view of GOES-16 Infrared images that include plots of surface reports is shown below.
