The inexorable slip into autumn and winter is ongoing.<\/p>\n<p>Early in the morning on 24 September, Direct Broadcast NOAA-20 data downloaded at <a href=\"https:\/\/cimss.ssec.wisc.edu\">CIMSS<\/a> and processed with <a href=\"https:\/\/cimss.ssec.wisc.edu\/cspp\">CSPP<\/a> showed an extensive aurora over much of Canada. (These data are available from the Direct Broadcast ftp site: <a href=\"ftp:\/\/ftp.ssec.wisc.edu\/pub\/eosdb\/\">link<\/a>; direct link to the NOAA-20 data used below: <a href=\"ftp:\/\/ftp.ssec.wisc.edu\/pub\/eosdb\/j01\/viirs\/2020_09_24_268_0804\/images\/\">link<\/a> &#8212; note that this direct link is ephemeral and will disappear after about a week).
