Due to the large number of volcanoes worldwide, satellite observations are key in monitoring the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ssd.noaa.gov\/VAAC\/vaac.html\"><strong>Earth&#8217;s<\/strong> <strong>volcanoes<\/strong><\/a> for aviation safety and other applications.
