The pyroCb clouds developed in advance of an approaching cold front (<a href=\"https:\/\/cimss.ssec.wisc.edu\/satellite-blog\/images\/2020\/02\/200201_surface_analyses_Australia_anim.gif\"><strong>surface analyses<\/strong><\/a>), exhibiting 10.4 \u00b5m cloud-top infrared brightness temperatures in the -40 to -49\u00baC range <em>(shades of blue)<\/em>.
