Features of interest included surface mesovortices within the eye, eyewall cloud-top gravity waves, and a quasi-stationary &#8220;cloud cliff&#8221; notch extending northwestward from the eye (<a href=\"https:\/\/cimss.ssec.wisc.edu\/satellite-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2019\/08\/190807_himawari8_infrared_contours_Lekima_anim.gif\"><strong>infrared brightness temperature contours<\/strong><\/a>).
