(The picture above looks northeast from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/place\/Nimitz+Hill\/@13.4624991,144.7130464,14z\/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x671f777cb3d64cf5:0x73324a150a99e180!8m2!3d13.4625!4d144.730556!5m1!1e4\">Nimitz Hill<\/a> on the island of Guam).<\/p>\n<p>The visible imagery below shows a pall of haze entrenched within the tropical easterlies from south and west of Hawai&#8217;i all the way across the Pacific Basin to Guam &#8212; a distance of some 4000 miles!
