GOES-16 Animations of True Color (in this case, the CIMSS Natural True Color product that is created using Bands 1, 2 and 3 (0.47 \u00b5m, 0.64 \u00b5m and 0.86 \u00b5m, respectively)), below, (also available <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ssec.wisc.edu\/data\/geo\/#\/animation?satellite=goes-16&amp;end_datetime=latest&amp;n_images=1&amp;coverage=conus&amp;channel=rgbnat&amp;image_quality=gif&amp;anim_method=javascript\">here<\/a>; a similar product from CIRA is available <a href=\"http:\/\/rammb-slider.cira.colostate.edu\/?sat=goes-16&amp;sec=conus&amp;x=5000&amp;y=5000&amp;z=0&amp;im=12&amp;ts=1&amp;st=0&amp;et=0&amp;speed=130&amp;motion=loop&amp;map=1&amp;lat=0&amp;p%5B0%5D=16&amp;opacity%5B0%5D=1&amp;hidden%5B0%5D=0&amp;pause=0&amp;slider=-1&amp;hide_controls=0&amp;mouse_draw=0&amp;s=rammb-slider\">here<\/a>), show the pall of smoke as well.  <a href=\"https:\/\/cimss.ssec.wisc.edu\/satellite-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2017\/09\/NWSFrontPage_1330_06Sept2017.png\">Air Quality Alerts from the National Weather Service were widespread on 6 September<\/a>.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_25062\" style=\"width: 635px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a class=\"thumbnail\" href=\"https:\/\/cimss.ssec.wisc.edu\/satellite-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2017\/09\/CIMSSNatlTrueColor-20170906_1400_2130_anim.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-25062\" class=\"wp-image-25062\" src=\"https:\/\/cimss.ssec.wisc.edu\/satellite-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2017\/09\/CIMSSNatlTrueColor-20170906_203035.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"625\" height=\"417\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-25062\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">CIMSS Natural True Color, every 15 minutes, from 1400-2130 UTC on 6 September 2017 (Click to animate)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>GOES-16 has multiple channels and products that can view both the Smoke and the Fires that produce the smoke.
