The animation above shows the GOES-16 Advanced Baseline Imager (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.goes-r.gov\/spacesegment\/abi.html\">ABI<\/a>) <a href=\"http:\/\/www.goes-r.gov\/education\/docs\/ABI-bands-FS\/ABI_Band_13_FS_CLEAN_LW_IR_FINAL.pdf\">10.3 \u00b5m<\/a> imagery with Geostationary Lightning Mapper (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.goes-r.gov\/spacesegment\/glm.html\">GLM<\/a>) Lightning Flash event locations superimposed, at 1-minute timescales.
