A general increase in convection in the 24 hours shown is obvious. Visible imagery (below) from the morning of 26 August shows some overshooting tops within the central dense overcast (CDO) covering the low-level circulation. A plot of the number of overshooting tops in Erika is <a href=\"https:\/\/cimss.ssec.wisc.edu\/satellite-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2015\/08\/al052015_PG_OT_line_plot.png\">here<\/a> (taken from <a href=\"https:\/\/cimss.ssec.wisc.edu\/goes_r\/proving-ground\/nhc\/ot\/\">this webpage<\/a>).
