While the rainfall was beneficial in terms of drought mitigation, amounts of up to <a title=\"NWS san Francisco Public Information Statement\" href=\"https:\/\/cimss.ssec.wisc.edu\/satellite-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2014\/12\/141203_mtr_pns.text\"><strong>12 inches<\/strong><\/a> did cause flooding and mudslide problems in some locations.<\/p>\n<p>An animation of hourly MIMIC TPW images from 30 November &#8211;
