Note that the corresponding <a title=\"AWIPS MODIS visible image\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/cimss.ssec.wisc.edu\/satellite-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2006\/09\/060916_awips_modis_vis_mntwaves.jpg\"><strong>MODIS visible image<\/strong><\/a> reveals that very few clouds were present across much of the area where the mountain waves were evident (southern Colorado and northern New Mexico).
