Some locations in the Las Vegas metro area received as much as 2.09 inches (<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/cimss.ssec.wisc.edu\/satellite-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2012\/09\/120912_kvef_pns.text\" title=\"Public Information Statement\">Public Information Statement<\/a><\/strong>), with 3.35 inches falling in the higher elevations (7450 feet) to the west of the city at Mt. Charleston.
