The Meteorsat-9 &#8220;split window&#8221; <a title=\"Meteosat Saharan Air Layer (SAL) tracking product\" href=\"http:\/\/tropic.ssec.wisc.edu\/misc\/sal\/info.sal.m8split.html\"><strong>Saharan Air Layer (SAL) tracking product<\/strong><\/a> <em><strong>(above; click image to play animation)<\/strong><\/em> displayed a very strong signal of a large area of SAL dust <em>(yellow to orange to dark red color enhancement)<\/em> approaching the Lesser Antilles and the Greater Antilles islands of the West Indies.<\/p>\n<p>The hazy signature of the dust cloud was also seen during the daytime hours on Meteosat-9 <a title=\"Meteosat pseudo-natural color RGB images\" href=\"http:\/\/tropic.ssec.wisc.edu\/misc\/sal\/info.sal.trucol.html\"><strong>pseudo-natural color images<\/strong><\/a>\u00c2\u00a0 Red\/Green\/Blue (RGB) images <em><strong>(below; click image to play animation)<\/strong><\/em>.
