Meanwhile, this particular northerly flow regime has allowed for
the formation of several interesting eddies along the California
coast, including a visually prominent one between Partick`s Point
and Point Saint George. While this has essentially only resulted
in some enhanced coastal cloudiness and southerly winds in some
areas, it is visually striking in satellite imagery and one of the
best examples of these coastal eddies seen in quite a while.
