The National Weather Service in Portland, Oregon has confirmed an EF-2 tornado in Manzanita, Oregon. The tornado was confirmed through a National Weather Service storm survey, video evidence, and EM/spotter/media reports. The tornado started as a waterspout over the Pacific Ocean and came onto the beach near Treasure Cove Ln. The tornado continued to the northeast to the intersection of Laneda Ave and 3rd St. where the most severe damage occurred. This is also where the tornado reached its maximum width of 700 feet.
