...A SNOW SQUALL WILL IMPACT EASTERN CIBOLA COUNTY UNTIL 5 PM MST...

At 411 PM MST, Doppler radar was tracking thunderstorms producing a
snow squall along a line from 5 miles northwest of San Fidel to 17
miles southwest of Acoma Pueblo, moving east at 35 mph.

Locations impacted include...
  Grants, Laguna Pueblo, Skyline-Ganipa, Acoma Pueblo, McCartys, San
  Fidel, Cubero, New Laguna, Mesita and Cebolletita.

Visibilities will drop quickly to less than a quarter of a mile in
this snow squall. Winds will gust up to 45 mph. Up to 1 inch of snow
will fall.

This includes Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 83 and 118.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.

Use extra caution if you must travel into or through this snow
squall. Rapid changes in visibility and potentially slick roads are
likely to lead to accidents. Consider delaying travel until the
squall passes your location.
