...TRACE ASHFALL POSSIBLE FOR THE COASTAL WATERS SOUTHEAST OF
SHISHALDIN VOLCANO...

At 1700Z or 9:00 AM AKDT a plume of volcanic ash was observed and
detected on satellite imagery extending east-southeast from the
crater of Shishaldin Volcano. Given the pattern, the ash will
continue to travel over the coastal waters southeast of Unimak
Island and may lead to trace amounts of ashfall at the surface.
