A Storm Surge Watch is in effect for Southwest Long Island.

A Storm Surge Warning extends along southeast Long Island, coastal
areas adjacent to Long Island Sound, and further north to
Nantucket Sound.

A Flash Flood Watch extends from inland western New England south
through southern New Jersey.

A Tropical Storm Warning is in effect for New York City and
portions of Central New Jersey.

A Tropical Storm Warning is in effect for Boston and surrounding
areas.

At 1000 AM EDT...National Weather Service Doppler RADAR detected
bands of heavy rain moving over New York City, northern New
Jersey, eastern Pennsylvania, and southern New England as Henri
appproaches the Rhode Island coastline. Below are preliminary
rainfall and wind observations associated with Tropical Storm
