AXI-Tools Utility Package
AXI-Tools is a binary utility package that converts AHI and ABI reflectance and brightness temperature data into Sectorized Cloud and Moisture Imagery (SCMI) format, which can be used by the AWIPS-II and compatible forecast and analysis software systems. Input is ABI and AHI Level 1B data files in mission-standard formats. Files can also be generated in the GOES-R Cloud and Moisture Imagery (CMIP) convention.
System Compatibility:
The software runs on 64-bit Intel Linux systems with at least 16 GB of RAM. The latest version of AXI-Tools was built using CentOS6 distributions, but has been successfully tested and run on CentOS7.
