Instrumentation on the ER-2

• Air Multi-angle Imaging Spectrometer (AirMISR) - nine pushbroom cameras each using four spectral bands at different angles along track measure top of atmosphere surface and cloud angular reflectance functions along with surface aerosol and vegetation properties
• MODIS Airborne Simulator (MAS) - 50 channel vis/ir imager; 50 meter spatial resolution, 36 kilometer swath
• Cloud Lidar System (CLS) - micropulse lidar providing vertical profiles of cloud and aerosol particles at 1.064 and 0.532 microns
• Scanning High Resolution Interferometer Sounder (S-HIS) -MWIR to LWIR interferometer (2 km resolution with 36 kilometer swath)
• RC-10 camera system - (b/w photo, 5 and 10 meter resolution)
• VIS Video Camera System - (~36 kilometer swath)

• Atmospheric Emitted Radiance Interferometer (AERI) - Two band (520 - 3000 cm-1) high spectral resolution infrared radiance interferometer (< 0.5 wavenumber unapodized), zenith viewing
