Sinlaku becomes annular
After going through a secondary eyewall formation (or eyewall contraction cycle), Sinlaku has become annular. The first animation shows the 24 hours between 00Z 11 Sept and 00Z 12 Sept. as the inner eyewall collapses and Sinlaku weakens. The second animation goes from 00Z on the 12th through 12Z on the 12th. while Sinlaku is annular. It’s intensity increases just slightly during this time period.
