Bedka http://cimss.ssec.wisc.edu/tamdar/ Weather Conditions: General condition of the day: Clear skies and fair conditions throughout the morning and afternoon, with the high temperature reaching 87. Clouds built in from the west beginning at around 5:30 PM, with cloudy conditions prevalent by the 7 PM launch. Slight chance of thunderstorms overnight, but since today is the final day of TAVE--II, this won't affect us. Instrument Status: * Surface pressure, RH, and temperature sensors working and archiving. Packed up soon after last balloon release. * Ceilometer working and archiving. Packed up soon after last balloon release * GPS system working and archiving. Packed up soon after last balloon release * AERI working and archiving. Shutdown for the trip soon after last balloon release * Radiosonde system is working and archiving Final 5 launches completed Science/Miscellaneous: 0000 UTC launch partly cloudy, few and scattered 1505 UTC launch Clear with some cumulus clouds on the horizon. 1915 UTC launch Mostly clear 2220 UTC launch Partly cloudy with cumulus 0000 UTC launch Cloudy, mostly stratocumulus, and there looks to be some cirrus above AC status: Units continue to work off and on throughout the day.
